Douglas and Jenipher
headed to Saskatchewan in 1918 from Digby County, Nova Scotia with their nine children and Jenipher's mother,
Maria Edith (Hollingsworth) Journeay.

Douglas and Jenipher had a total of ten children.
The farm they homesteaded in Saskatchewan is still owned by direct descendants of Douglas Marling in 2006.
